  • Happy New Year 2023!

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    First I just want to thank all my clients for continuing to support my small business, it means the world to me and I can’t thank you enough. At this time of year I always like to reflect on the past year and plan out the new year to grow and move the business in a couple of new directions.

    We have some exciting things planned for 2023, I won’t spill all the beans right now, but to give a few little tidbits:

    1.  We’re updating our Newborn packages to include three different options!  A little more versatile and options for what you really want to capture!
    2. Moving to a Proofing Gallery Model!  – this is pretty exciting and a big shift,  you’ll be provided a proofing gallery with all of the best images from your session and you’ll be able to go through and select your favourites for final editing and retouching!  This is huge for us because normally I used to do all of the selections and sent out the best of the best, but this will give you the opportunity to choose them and have a more hands on experience.
    3. More Themed Mini sessions throughout the year!!  Woot woot!  Dinosaur Mini session, Space Mini session, Reaching for the Stars Mini Session, Motherhood Mini Sessions and More!  Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more info!

    That’s all I’ll share for now but the new year is looking wonderful!  Thanks so much for your love and light!

    Also a shout out to all my Christmas Mini clients in 2022, we filled two boxes for the food bank!  Next year we hope to double the amount and can’t thank you enough xoxoxo

    Limited Edition Christmas Mini Sessions

    We’re so excited to offer our Christmas Mini sessions this year!! 🎄 This is my absolute favourite time of the year and it’s the perfect time to capture some timeless images for your little ones and family.

    We have TWO beautifully designed sets this year:
    Set one: The Cozy Rustic Fireplace
    A timeless set with a fireplace and Christmas tree, surrounded by nutcrackers and toys.
    It’s such a warm cozy set perfect for normal or fancy clothes or even jammies to read a book by the fire, play with some toys or have  a peek into a gift box:).

    Set two: The Christmas Winter Holiday Camper
    This is such a fun set, perfect for your Christmas sweaters, scarves and hats, you’ll be able to snuggle together in front of the camper having make believe hot chocolate and have a little snowball fun 🙂

    It will be a fun experience for all! You can choose one set or both at the time of your session!

    The Christmas Mini-Session Package includes the session time, 8 Professionally edited images available by digital download and a special gift from the North pole for your little ones 🙂 Additional images may be available for purchase.

    Sessions will take place in our boutique home studio in Fergus Ontario.

  • Fall Family Mini Sessions – 2022

    We’re so excited to offer our Fall Mini sessions this year!! 🍂 Fall is a beautiful season and the perfect time to capture some timeless images for your family.

    The Fall Mini-Session Package includes 10 Professionally edited images available by digital download. Additional images may be available for purchase. Sessions will take place in the Guelph Arboretum Area, a map with further information will be provided prior to the session date.

    When booking, please enter how many children are in your family and their ages in the “additional comments section”, this will help me prepare any sitting aides if needed 🍂Due to the short and sweet nature of these session, immediate family only per session.  Pre-payment is required to book your session.

    Why did I become a photographer?

    I’m asked a lot why I became a photographer and honestly I have so many reasons….I’ve loved photography ever since I was a little girl; I was always trying to learn and grow as an artist, took images from multiple angles and played with light to see what would work the best.  When my first nephew was born, I fell in love with newborn lifestyle photography; I love capturing every detail of this sweet little being.  Over the past 15 years, (how is he already 15??!!  lol)  I’ve evolved and diversified my sessions into Newborn Posing, Family, Cake smashes, Pets and weddings.  I love so many things about photography and

    I believe there are special moments in life that should be preserved, honoured and captured in natural authentic ways.  Images should evoke emotion so that any time you view the picture in the future, all of the memories of that time will be present and loved.  Through profound loss I’ve found the importance of photography, the comfort it brings to generations that follow.  My hope is that you will love your images today, tomorrow and always.  I feel so honoured to have wonderful clients that allow me to preserve your memories.  We will create timeless images together, artistic images of your loved ones that will be cherished for years to come.

    I hope that helps give some light onto why I chose this profession, I may have gone off on a bit of a tangent, but it comes down to capturing all the special moments, big and small 🙂

    It’s that time of the year again!  We’ll be offering some Family mini-sessions coming up in August!

    I’m always so honoured to photograph my clients from year to year and watch the families grow; I love seeing how all your little ones are growing so incredibly fast 🙂  Stay tuned! We’ll have more details soon for dates, times and locations available!

    Pink Peony Backdrop Photography Set Design

    This beautiful set was designed for a special sweet little girl turning 1!  It definitely is one of my favourite sets, light and airy, pretty pinks and a wood look floor.  I think I might have to offer mini sessions with it in the near future 🙂  Here are a couple images from her Cake Smash!  It was a big hit…and so much fun!!  🙂

    Whether you choose a Posed Newborn session or a Lifestyle Newborn session, I try my best to capture all the little details of your sweet baby.  Close ups of their little hands and feet are some of my favourite images and super cute 🙂

    When to book your newborn session?

    As soon as possible!  I have a certain number of newborn sessions I take per month, so booking early guarantee’s your spot and I use your due date to schedule you in.  Once you have your baby and are home comfortable, just send me a message and we’ll setup your session date/time.

    We are so excited to announce our Easter Mini Sessions for 2022!! 🐰 🐣 🥕

    We’ve had to postpone these the last two years, every time it was about time to have them things got shut down, so it makes them ever so sweet this year.  These images are going to be adorable with your little ones surrounded by our cute bunnies and little baby chicks (faux little ones, but they do chirp and look quite real:) ) in the Spring Farmhouse set.

  • Graduates 2020!

    Congratulations Grads!

    This year is so different for everyone, it’s tested our patience and resilience. For all those who graduated this year, we wish you all the best in your next chapter, you should feel so proud of your accomplishments!

    We know it’s hard to go without prom that you’ve looked forward to for many years, and to not walk across the stage with your friends is a huge difference from normality; however we want to celebrate you!

    We’re offering Mini-Graduate sessions for $80, for anyone who graduated middle school, high school, college, University etc. that will include a 20min session and 10 professionally edited images, and a sneak peek on Facebook!

    Sessions will take place in an outdoor location where social distancing will be maintained.  We have several locations pre-chosen for Guelph, Fergus, Elora, Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge!   Feel free to wear your prom dress, a mask for a couple, whatever you wish to celebrate your milestone!
