Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing Dad’s out there who love, care for and give their all for their little ones!
I’m actually finding this very hard to write as it’s the first Father’s day without my Dad. He was a man of few words, but was always there for me, he was the person I always asked mechanical questions to; he taught me how to change the oil in my car, he passed along his love of tools, cars and boats. He always knew what the weather was going to be and watched the news religiously.
We lost him in March 2020, we just found out he had Cancer in February and it was a blur of appointments in Guelph and Hamilton, he spent his last month in various hospitals, I won’t recount all the issues here, but just wanted to share how much he was loved and how much he is missed.
Dad’s: your role is so important, hug your little ones tight and show them love and support, that’s what they’ll remember as they grow, it’s the time you spend with them. Time is something you can’t get back, or change, live everyday till it’s fullest. xoxo
